Sic structure of magnetic separator:

Wet Separation Permanent Magnetism Barrel Type Magnetic Ore Separator is mainly made of barrel, roller, brush roll, magnetic system, tank and transmission unit. The barrel is made of 3-6mm stainless steel welded into a tube, and end cap made of casting aluminium and connected with the tube by stainless steel screw. Motor, through the reducer, or taking stepless speed control motor directly, drives barrel, magnetic roller and brush roll for rotary motion. The magnetic system is fixed in the cylinder, uncovered, as open magnetic system, and the magnetic block fixed on the bottom plate of magnetic yoke through stainless steel bolts. The shaft of magnetic yoke extends out of the cylinder, and a crank is fixed at the end of the shaft. Magnetic declination lines are adjusted when wrenching the crank, and after proper adjustment, the crank is fixed by pull rod. The work area of tank is made of stainless steel plate, while the rack and other parts of the tank are welded by ordinary steel.

Operational principle of magnetic separator:

After the pulp flow into the tank through the feed box, with the help of water from feed nozzle, the ore particles go into the feed area of the tank loosely. In the magnetic field, magnetic mineral particles get together to form "magnetic group" or "magnetic flux linkage", and "magnetic group" or "magnetic flux linkage" by the effect in pulp move to the pole and are attracted to the cylinder. As the magnetic polarity along the rotation direction of cylinder is alternately arranged, and fixed at work, when rotating with cylinder, "magnetic group" or "magnetic flux linkage" generate the phenomena of magnetic stirring due to alternating magnetic polarity. The non-magnetic materials like gangue mixed in "magnetic group" or "magnetic flux linkage" shed during flipping, and finally "magnetic group" or "magnetic flux linkage" still adsorbed on the surface of the cylinder are concentrate ores. The concentrate ores rotate to the weakest magnetic edge with the cylinder, unloaded to the concentrate tank by the rinsing water from the unloading nozzle. If there were full magnetic roller, the concentrate ores would be unloaded by brush roll. Non-magnetic or weakly magnetic minerals in pulp discharged out of the tank are tailings.
